MasterChef Champions at Sitwell Supper Club May 22

The Sitwell Supper Club is delighted to announce a dinner by two former MasterChef champions at The White Hart on Friday May 22, 2026. Thomas Frake and Kenny Tutt are joining forces for a delicious and entertaining dinner that celebrates the British seasons and the pair’s cooking abilities!

Guests will enjoy a generous four-course dinner including a fish course of hake, an exquisite lamb dish and a wickedly delicious  pudding.

The location is The White Hart in Wiveliscombe, the beautiful and ancient coaching inn, re-launched by William Sitwell in 2025, in the pretty hilltop town of Wiveliscombe, West Somerset, TA43PT.

Your host, as ever, is William Sitwell, one of Britain’s foremost food writers. Restaurant critic for The Telegraph he has been a regular judge on the BBC hit show MasterChef for almost 20 years. His supper club in Somerset is a firm favourite for lovers of great food, great wine and great times! Now as the co-director of The White Hart William can encourage guests to sup and sip ‘til they’re hiccupping and bag a room, sleeping soundly in the knowledge that a restorative and hearty breakfast awaits in the morning.

Thomas Frake won MasterChef in April 2020 wowing judges with his monk fish scampi and ox cheek braised in black treacle. He was also crowned MasterChef Champion of Champions in 2025. Thomas is now the landlord and chef for The Silks public house in Wiltshire, and a MasterChef Champion of Champions.

Kenny Tutt won MasterChef in 2018 cooking scallops and a squab pigeon breast and has returned to the show subsequently as a guest judge. He is now a chef and entrepreneur combing fine-dining technique with a passion for British ingredients.

 

Thomas and Kenny’s combined menu will display the pair’s love and talents of classic British dishes and culinary flair. Says Thomas: ‘For two MasterChef champions to be cooking at the restaurant of a MasterChef judge will be something very special!’

Drinks are from 7pm. Speeches and dinner at 7.30pm. The event ends at 10.30pm.

The Sitwell Supper Club is also proud to be associated with Richard Brendon glassware. Designer Richard’s wine glasses were created with the assistance of Jancis Robinson OBE MW and his collection of cocktail glasses are beautiful mouth-blown glassware inspired by a mix of turn-of-the 20th century and modern cocktail culture.

What time does the event begin? As Sitwell Supper Club is now housed at the White Hart guests are advised that the bar is open from 4PM! Please note complimentary drinks are not served until 7PM.

I have a nut allergy, is your menu safe? We can provide a nut-free menu on request. Simply email the host to request.

I’m gluten-intolerant and prefer to avoid dairy. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Look, as above, we’re only too delighted to adhere to dietary requests. Please simply email us and then identify yourself clearly on arrival on the night so we can ensure you get the correct food. Please alert us of dietary requirements at least seven days prior to an event. We are unable to cater for dietaries after that deadline.

If the event is showing as sold out, is there hope for me and my pals? You can email the host requesting seats in the event of dropouts.
