Key Information:

The Sitwell Supper Club is delighted to announce a night of fizz and sparkle as we team up with historic Champagne house, Perrier-Jouët, on Friday May 1 2026.

Guests will enjoy a sumptuous four-course dinner with Champagne to match. It promises to be a night of divine seafood, fish and strawberries paired with some of the most delectable Champagnes, all included in the ticket price, crafted by one of France’s most celebrated producers.

The location is The White Hart in Wiveliscombe, the beautiful and ancient coaching inn in the pretty hilltop town of Wiveliscombe, West Somerset, TA43PT.

Your host, as ever, is William Sitwell, one of Britain’s foremost food writers. Restaurant critic for The Telegraph he has been a regular judge on the BBC hit show MasterChef for almost 20 years. His supper club in Somerset is a firm favourite for lovers of great food, great wine and great times! Now as the co-director of The White Hart William can encourage guests to sup and sip ‘til they’re hiccupping and bag a room, sleeping soundly in the knowledge that a restorative and hearty breakfast awaits in the morning.

Also joining as co-host and personal champagne tutor for the night is Charlotte Kristensen. Charlotte is the UK Ambassador for Perrier-Jouët, writes a weekly column for the Mail on Sunday’s You Magazine and is the author of Wine: Taste Pair Pour as well as a certified wine educator.

Meanwhile, our partner for the evening, Perrier-Jouët, is a historic Champagne house. Founded in 1811 Perrier-Jouët is known for its elegant, chardonnay-led style. The wines are fresh, floral and refined, with a real focus on balance and precision. It’s also a house with a strong artistic heritage, most notably the iconic anemone design on the vintage Belle Epoque label which was created in 1902.

Plus, cook for the night is The White Hart’s very own accomplished head chef, Dom Hewitt. Dom’s career has seen him work as chef and manager of a number of high-profile establishments, pubs and restaurants across the Cotswolds as well as working as a private chef. This dinner sees him take a break from cooking the Italian menu at the White Hart and selecting seasonal dishes that perfectly complement the Champagnes.

Drinks are from 7pm. Speeches and dinner at 7.30pm. The event ends at 10.30pm.
